KIS International School Thailand
Founded in 1998, KIS International School is a proudly family-owned IB World School and one of the few schools in Thailand to offer the complete International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum. KIS educates students aged 2 to 18 across two campuses in the Greater Bangkok area and is the only full IB school in Bangkok to offer both day and boarding. Its community has grown to more than 1,000 students representing over 50 nationalities, united in a warm, friendly and inclusive environment.
Educational Approach
KIS delivers a holistic, inquiry-led education through all four IB programmes — the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP). The IB is a world-renowned and highly respected academic framework, valued by universities worldwide for developing critical thinking, independent learning and global-mindedness. Alongside academic rigour, KIS places strong emphasis on character, wellbeing, service and leadership, helping students become confident, principled global citizens.
Campuses
1. KIS Bangkok (Huai Khwang)
Grades: Early Years to Sixth Form (Ages 2–18)
Programmes: IB PYP, MYP, Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme
Highlights: The original KIS campus, centrally located within a secure, gated estate near downtown Bangkok. A close-knit, well-established community offering the full IB continuum, an extensive co-curricular programme and modern academic, arts and sports facilities.
2. KIS Reignwood Park (Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani)
Grades: Early Years to Sixth Form (Ages 2–18); boarding available from Grade 4
Programmes: IB PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme
Highlights: A world-class, 60-acre campus opened in August 2024 — the only full IB day and boarding school in Bangkok. Facilities include a 1,000-seat Performing Arts Centre, an Aquatic Centre and a Golf Development Academy, all set within the tranquil Reignwood Park community.
Accreditations & Achievements
KIS International School is an accredited IB World School, authorised to deliver all four IB programmes, and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). It is a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) and the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS), and is recognised by ONESQA. KIS students achieve consistently strong IB results: the most recent graduating class earned offers from 191 universities across 21 countries — including more than 60 offers from top-100 universities — and were awarded over US$26 million in scholarships.
