Welcome to Highgate International School Thailand — a landmark partnership bringing nearly 460 years of British educational excellence from the UK’s prestigious Highgate School (founded 1565) to the heart of Chonburi province. Opening in August 2026, Highgate Thailand is set to redefine premium international education for families across Pattaya, Rayong and Chonburi.

Highgate’s long-standing reputation for academic distinction and holistic development continues in Thailand through a carefully designed English National Curriculum for students aged 2 to 18. Lessons will culminate in IGCSE and A Level qualifications, preparing graduates for entry to leading universities worldwide.

Highgate International School Thailand will be academically selective, ensuring that each child thrives in a suitably challenging environment. Admission will be based on performance in an entrance examination and interview, designed to assess both academic potential and character. This approach upholds the school’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of learning and achievement.

Nestled near Siam Country Club in Chonburi, the expansive campus combines state-of-the-art facilities with natural tranquillity — ideal for academic focus and wellbeing. Only 30 minutes from Pattaya and 90 minutes from Bangkok, the school is perfectly positioned for both local and expatriate families. Planned facilities include:

Curriculum Pathway

  • Pre-Prep (ages 2–7): Early foundation in phonics, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.

  • Junior School (ages 7–11): Strengthening academic skills through the English National Curriculum, with emphasis on enquiry-based learning.

  • Senior School (ages 11–18): Broad and balanced curriculum leading to IGCSE and A Level qualifications.

  • Boarding Programme: Full and weekly boarding options from 2028, offering structure, independence, and lifelong friendships.

 

Leadership and Pastoral Care

Highgate Thailand is led by Ben Keeling, Founding Head, whose experience spans nearly two decades in international school leadership. Under his guidance, the school will offer an inclusive yet high-performing environment where students feel supported, valued, and inspired to reach their potential.

Admissions & Enrolment

Applications are now open for Pre-Prep and Junior School entry (ages 2–11) for August 2026. Senior School Year 7 to 9 will follow in 2027.
