Overview

 

Established in 2010 by Dr. Wiravan Mooltripakdee, Mooltripakdee International School (MIS) is a rapidly expanding international school located in the tranquil countryside near Pattaya, Thailand. MIS offers a high-quality, British-based education for children aged 2 to 18 years, blending the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with Montessori methodology in the early years, and progressing through the English National Curriculum and Cambridge International Curriculum in primary and secondary education. 

 

Curriculum

 

  • Early Years (Ages 2–5): Combines EYFS with Montessori principles to foster creativity and independence.

  • Primary (Ages 5–11): Follows the English National Curriculum, emphasising literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning.

  • Secondary (Ages 11–18): Offers the Cambridge International Curriculum, preparing students for IGCSE, AS, and A-Level examinations. 

 

MIS is a Cambridge-accredited examination center, ensuring students receive globally recognised qualifications. 

 

Campus and Facilities

 

Situated on a 29-rai (approximately 11.5 acres) campus, MIS provides a serene and conducive learning environment:

 

  • Academic Facilities: Modern classrooms equipped with smart technology, science laboratories, ICT suites, and a spacious library.

  • Arts and STEAM: Dedicated spaces for music, drama, art, and a newly opened STEAM building housing secondary sciences, mathematics, and computer technology departments. 

  • Sports Facilities: Swimming pool, basketball courts, football pitches, and a multi-purpose sports hall currently under construction. 

  • Outdoor Learning: Organic gardens and green spaces that integrate environmental education into the curriculum.
